I needed a pair of shoes for my SD. I had bought him a pair of Ruffwear boots and he hates them. I measured his paws more times than I can count. He wouldn’t stop high stepping, they’d slide off while he was walking. He tripped over his own feet with them on and my normally excited to work dog would just stand there and look at me. The difference with the Clawgs was night and day it took him about 30 seconds to get used to them. We didn’t even do any conditioning as opposed to the two weeks of conditioning with the other shoes. Honestly, the endorsement from the AARV is what tipped the scales for me to give these a try. I have spent so much money on my SDs gear, the last thing I want to do is waste more for another pair of shoes that he can’t wear. THEY ARE WORTH THE PRICE. They are easy to fit and also to get off and on once you get the hang of it.

The Clawgs took some time to figure out how to put them on my dog. The instruction video was a big help but then the second time I put them on it was a learning process all over again! Now - after a couple of months wearing them - I like them but most importantly- my Service Dog Haru, loves them. His few claw would always get injury with other booties - but not with the Clawgs. Thank you for creating a great show for my important companion.

These dog shoes are great if you get the right size. Sledd is very helpful and asks for pictures of my dog wearing them to try to fit her properly. Hopefully I will get the right size this time!

My 35 lb Aussie has bad hips and so puts lots of weight on his front paws. Recently hiking in tough terrain (the rocky spine of a ridge in Banff) he ended up with some pad cuts/blisters. Most booties are too stiff and it's like he is walking on tiptoes. Others just don't fit right and tries to pull them off after a short distance. These are mostly invisible to him. He doesn't fuss with them and they stay in place. Though we're not likely to repeat that particular adventure any time soon, he will be wearing these for running next to the trike on hot pavement and any other future hikes with loose, sharp rocks.

My dog has very severe hind end lameness and neuropathy. I’ve put rugs everywhere in my house but he still finds those corners that aren’t covered and even slips on the rug. With Clawgs, he is able to navigate the house confidently. I also think they give him more proprioceptive awareness of his feet because his gate is much less stiff when he wears them.
He has never tolerated shoes but was (somewhat) more receptive to these initially, but not much. I kept with it and after a few weeks I think he’s learned that life is so much better with them on and he no longer fusses when I go to put them on.
