Easy to fit (after reading the instructions) they stay on for a three mile walk no problems. Keep snow and ice from building up between the toes.

My dog has a wonky back foot, with one toe missing, and one toe nail growing up from the top of his foot. As a result, he steps on a part of his foot that doesn't have a pad, and his gait is different. Without the protection of a pad, his foot is susceptible to cuts and scratches. One nasty wound had me searching for custom dog boots, since I knew that every option I had seen ready-made would not accommodate his top nail. I discovered Clawgs, sent an email with my dog's particular needs, and heard back with custom advice immediately. I tried several sizes, to find the right fit and was able to return the sizes I did not keep at no charge. Sledd stayed in touch with me through the whole journey of adjusting straps to comfortably wrap his foot and even added velcro to his Clawg that allowed me to fasten it somewhat differently than a 4 clawed back foot would require. I love our Clawg that fits like a glove and Jackson loves that he can run on grass, scrub, concrete, stones, etc without injuring his wonky foot and having to stay inside while it heals.
PS There was no extended service needed to fit his 3 normal paws. A little trial and adjusting and getting the perfect fit was straightforward, especially with all the how-to videos on the site.

I really like these little shoes for my dog. When the temps are very cold (below freezing) my dog lifts his feet, cries, and refuses to continue to walk by laying on his back. I was looking for something that would provide a barrier between his feet and the snow, ice and road salt. And these little shoes did just that. No more painful feet for my sweet little guy in the cold. Thank you! 🙏

Do not hesitate to try these amazing shoes if your dog has trouble gripping the floor. They really do work and they would have been a complete game changer for our 16 yo girl had she not taken a sudden turn for the worst a day after these arrived. While mourning her, I could not bring myself to deal with returning the several pairs we had received and as it turns out I missed the return window by a few days when I finally went online to do it.
I appealed to Clawgs and the folks there were incredibly understanding and accepted a full return (I just had to pay the shipping, which was about $5). I found this to be above and beyond kind.
Not only are these doggie-shoes engineered with genius and love, the customer service deserves 10+ stars.
I will be recommending this company to every doggie friend I have, and we will absolutely revisit these shoes should we be lucky enough to once again have a dog that lives to the point that they need some help walking.
